Privacy policy

Effective October 21, 2026. This policy covers the Voltek IT website and the forms, chat assistant, and phone numbers published on it. It does not cover the services we deliver under a signed client agreement; those are governed by that agreement.

Who we are

Voltek IT ("Voltek", "we", "us") is a managed IT and software company at 185 Great Neck Rd, 4th Floor, Great Neck, NY 11021. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@voltekit.com or +1 929-380-7929.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, and message, plus your company and phone number if you choose to give them.
• What you type into the chat assistant. Your questions are sent to our AI provider to generate an answer. Please don't share passwords, health information, or other sensitive details in the chat.
• Usage data. On the live site we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived, using cookies.
• Security signals. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser signals to tell people from bots. We also keep your IP address briefly in memory to limit repeated submissions.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and provide the services you ask about.
• To keep the site secure and the contact form free of spam.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above:

• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Resend, which delivers contact form messages to our team by email.
• Cloudflare, which runs the Turnstile bot check.
• Google, for Analytics and for the Gemini model behind the chat assistant.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

Calls and text messages (TCPA)

We follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and related rules. If you give us your phone number on the contact form, we use it to respond to that inquiry.

• Consent is opt-in. We will only call or text you about our services, including with automated technology or prerecorded messages, if you check the consent box on the form or otherwise give us express written consent.
• Consent is never required to buy. You do not have to agree to calls or texts to become a client or to get a reply. Leave the box unchecked and we will answer by email.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or ask us on a call, by email at info@voltekit.com, or by phone at +1 929-380-7929. We honor opt-outs promptly and send one confirmation text at most. Reply HELP for help.
• Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply.
• Mobile numbers are not shared. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
• Calling hours. We do not place marketing calls before 8am or after 9pm in your local time, and we honor the National Do Not Call Registry for anyone who has not given us consent.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile set cookies or use similar storage. The site also remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the contact form needs the Turnstile check to run.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept in our email for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and any work that follows, then deleted under our normal retention schedule. Analytics data is kept under Google Analytics retention settings.

Security

Data travels over HTTPS and is held by providers with strong security programs. Security is our business, but no system is perfect, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email info@voltekit.com and we will respond within the time your state's law requires. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act; we will not treat you differently for using them.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
